Luigi Zingales writes in Il Sole 24 Ore that Syriza's radical leftist nature should not avert attention from the unfair treatment of Greece. The IMF would have treated it better than the Troika.
The problem isn’t Germany, nor is it Greece: the problem is the political foundations of the European Union. It is a monetary, not political, union, in which economic decisions cannot be made in a democratic way and end up being prey to the vested interests of economically stronger countries.
