In the Netherlands the dissatisfaction about the way the bodies of the Dutch nationals who died in the crash of the Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 that went down on July 17 with 298 people on board in Russian-backed separatist controlled Eastern Ukraine are treated is growing rapidly, writes NRC Next.
According to the OSCE, the site of the crash has been widely polluted by militias, locals and looters and 196 bodies are so far being contained in refrigerated railway carriages, escorted by armed rebels, in the town of Torez near the crash site. Dutch PM Mark Rutte said last night during a press conference he wants the trains to go as soon as possible to Charkov, which is controlled by the Ukranian government. He called it “unbearable” it is taking so long to recover the bodies.
