The tabloid seriously doubts that the “EU will be doing itself a service” by making Croatia its 28th member on July 1.
“Brussels has already shelled out a billion to assist the Zagreb government's accession,” points out the newspaper, which announces that ”the euros will flow even more readily after accession, because the Croats are hoping to cash in on €3bn in EU funds.”
