Following a procession through the Westminster government district of London, a ceremony was held at St Paul’s Cathedral in the presence of Queen Elizabeth II.
For the left-wing newspaper, the funeral was not simply laying to rest the prime minister who crushed the unions, it was also burying the entire 1980s.
