On January 31, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán met Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the development of economic relations between their countries.
Russia is Hungary’s second biggest trading partner, after Germany, and collaboration between Budapest and Moscow is set to grow, especially in the energy sector, with the routing of the South Stream gas pipeline through Hungary.
