Jean Pisani-Ferry, (b. 1951) is a French economist and professor at the Paris-Dauphine University. He is also the Director of the Bruegel think-tank and previously served as an advisor to the French Ministry of Economy and Finance, and European Commission.
He is the author of several books, including The euro crisis and how we get out of it (ed. Fayard, 2011), and writes regularly for the international press.
