Prism scandal: Obama’s dummy?

UK Foreign Secretary William Hague denied accusations that the UK listening station, GCHQ, received information about British citizens through the American Prism intelligence programme which circumvented the law.

At a meeting with US counterpart John Kerry in Washington on June 12, Mr Hague sought to draw a line under the claims, saying that the intelligence sharing relationship in both countries was based on a "framework of law".
