American Eavesdropping: Three men in a flub

Three men in a flub – Peter Brookes
The Times (London)

In unprecedented televised hearing on Britain's involvement in the American eavesdropping scandal held on November 7, the chiefs of the three British intelligence agencies — GCHQ, MI6 and MI5 —  told a committee of MPs that "the leaks from Snowden have been very damaging. They have put our operations at risk. It is clear our adversaries are rubbing their hands with glee."

British daily The Guardian reports that they also insisted they do not delve into "innocent emails and calls." They simply need access to the "enormous haystack," so that they can find the needles.
