According to two senior directors of Europol and Danish military intelligence, Danish public authorities and private companies do not provide sufficient protection for personal data, explains Berlingske.
In the columns of the Danish daily, the two men state that there is a real risk of cyber attacks “if secuity is not improved.”
Berlingske points out that the warning has come in the wake of 2012 attack on the country’s driving licence database. Police are still working to identify the people who carried out this attack.
