Elisabeth Rosenthal is a medical doctor and journalist who writes for the New York Times. She attended Harvard Medical School, did her residency at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and worked at New York Hospital. In 1998, she became a correspondent for the Times's China bureau, and has covered environmental and health issues for the paper.
