The trial of five members of the neo-Nazi terrorist group NSU, which began on May 6 in Munich, was adjourned when lawyers for the main defendant challenged the impartiality of the judge, who had ordered that representatives of the defence be searched before entering the courtroom. Hearings will resume on May 14.
At the opening of the trial, “alleged neo-Nazi terrorist Beate Zschäpe did not say anything,” recounts Tageszeitung. The newspaper continues —
