On February 27, the Slovenian parliament is to vote on a motion of no-confidence in Janez Janša’s government, which lost its majority at the end of January when several parties broke away from the ruling coalition.
If Janša loses the vote, it is expected that Alenka Bratušek, the leader of Positive Slovenia, the centre-left, main opposition party, will form a new government. The 42-year-old could become the first woman in Slovenia's history to become prime minister.
