Assya Kavrakova

Assya Kavrakova is the Director of the European Citizen Action Service (ECAS), an international non-profit organization, based in Brussels, with a pan-European membership and 25 years of experience in EU citizens’ rights enforcement and civic participation in the EU decision-making process. Before joining ECAS, she served as the Director of European Policies Program at the Open Society Institute (OSI-S) in Sofia, Bulgaria. She is author the paper: The Unfinished Business of the Fifth Enlargement Countries. Assya Kavrakova has a Master’s degree in Law and another Master’s degree in European Studies.
