Cengiz Aktar (Istanbul 1955) is a Turkish political scientist, journalist and writer. Specialising in EU-Turkish relations, he has worked for the EU and for the UN, and is campaigning for Ankara to recognise the Armenian genocide. A professor at the University of Athens, EKPA, his latest book is The Turkish Malaise (Transnational Press London, 2022).
