Leoni Bender

Leoni Bender is a German freelance environmental journalist based in Hamburg. She is particularly interested in in-depth investigations into environmental issues and their global interconnections. Leoni holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Communication from Jönköping University and a master’s in Investigative Journalism from the University of Gothenburg, both in Sweden. Her work has been published by Der Spiegel, CORRECTIV, Die Zeit, Krautreporter, Atmo, Flip, and other outlets. She is also an active member of the Network for Climate Journalism, where she helps to publish the newsletter.
