Mustafa Kuleli
Mustafa Kuleli is a journalist, storyteller, and media advocate with a diverse background across traditional and digital media. Born in İzmir in 1985 and a graduate of Istanbul Bilgi University’s School of Journalism, he began his professional journey as a reporter, editor, and presenter for respected outlets such as Evrensel, Hayat TV, TV8, IMC TV, NTV, Diken, and Gazete Duvar. In 2013, Kuleli was elected General Secretary of the Journalists’ Union of Turkey (TGS). He later founded Journo, a pioneering online journalism magazine, and launched TGS Academy, which equips journalists with essential new media skills. In addition to his leadership work, he is also a skilled digital content creator and communicator, with experience in video production, design, and platform-specific storytelling.
In 2019, Kuleli was elected Vice-President of the European Federation of Journalists (EFJ).
