Two men were shot and wounded by police in south-east London on May 22 after they rammed an off-duty soldier with a car in broad daylight outside an army barracks before stabbing him to death in front of dozens of horrified bystanders.
The pair told stunned witnesses to take photographs and videos of them during the terrifying attack outside the Royal Artillery barracks in Woolwich, and claimed their actions were a response to British forces’ killing of Muslims.
