Romanian journalist Sorin Roşca Stănescu (b. 1949) is a leader writer forJurnalul Naţional. A high-profile figure who often comments on controversial issues in Romania, Stănescu was the director of the dailyZiua from its launch in 1989 until it closed in 2010.
