The Dutch expression "to sell turnips like they were lemons" means to rip someone off.

Following the lead of their Belgian counterparts, the national railway of the Netherlands put an end to their contract with Italian company AnsaldoBreda to operate the high speed Fyra line between Amsterdam and Brussels. Due to unresolved technical problems, the Italian company was judged "not reliable enough" to continue the project.
