The nuclear non-proliferation treaty is in danger by the announcement of its non-compliance by Iran and the unilateral withdrawal of the United States.
After the escalation of tension registered in the area, the EU's High Representative for Foreign Policy, Federica Mogherini, urged on 15 July Iran to fulfill the commitments provided for in the treaty, also announcing the possible extension of the commercial advantages included for this nation.
