Toby Vogel is a Brussels-based writer on international affairs specializing in the Balkans and EU enlargement. With a background as a political scientist, he has written for the Wall Street Journal Europe, the International Herald Tribune, Haaretz, and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, among others. He covers international affairs for European Voice, an Economist Group newsweekly and is an occasional contributor to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s Newsline. He also is the director of the Democratization Policy Council, a research, analysis, and advocacy group.
