Ulrike Guérot is a German political scientist born in 1964. From 2000 to 2003, she headed the European programme of the German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP). Since 2007, she has been head of the Berlin office of the ECFR think-tank where she conducts research in the fields of European integration, European institutions and Franco-German and German-American relations. She also co-founded and runs the European Democracy Lab, and is a strong advocate of the establishment of a European Republic that would guarantee equal rights for all its inhabitants.
