“Afghanistan mission to end in 2013," headlines Gazeta Wyborcza, on plans currently being drawn up by Warsaw and NATO to withdraw the Polish army contingent from Afghanistan. With 2,600 troops stationed in Ghazni province, Poland wants the pull out to begin next year - after the current offensive has been concluded – while also wishing to comply with ISAF's objective to defeat the Taliban and then focus on infrastructure reconstruction and local government training.
