David Cameron, Fredrik Reinfeldt, Angela Merkel and Mark Rutte met at the Swedish Prime Minister's summer residence on 9 and 10 June for a mini-summit in the course of which the three male leaders tried in vain to convince the German Chancellor to withdraw her support for former Luxembourg prime minister Jean-Claude Juncker's bid to become the next president of the European Commission.
