Two camps of eurosceptic parties are fighting to form a political group within the European Parliament, headlines Corriere della Sera. However, for Marine Le Pen’s French National Front supported by the Italian Northern League, the Dutch PVV led by Geert Wilders, Austria’s FPÖ and Vlaams Belang (Flemish nationalists in Belgium) as much as for Nigel Farage’s UKIP, seconded by the Nordic extreme right, which is also trying to woo Beppe Grillo’s Italian 5 Stars Movement, the goal is the same: “stop integration” within the EU. Corriere wonders whether –

wouldn’t it be unwise or even suicidal to ignore [their] protests today and let them become a tsunami tomorrow? Europe, before all, should prevent a contradictory cluster of anti European sentiment from the right to the left from putting Europeanism and electoral democracy on a collision course.
