“D66 on top, a beating for the PVV”

According to an exit poll cited by De Volkskrant, the opposition D66 party were the big winner with 15.6 per cent of the vote (enough to gain an additional seat in parliament) in European elections on 22 May. Geert Wilders's PVV, on the other hand, are likely to lose a seat. Support for the populist party is expected to decline by five percentage points.
