Ion Vianu (b. 1934) is a Romanian writer and psychiatrist. Exiled to Switzerland in 1977, he subsequently became one of the most well-known voices there onRadio Free Europe. Upon his return to Romania, following the 1989 revolution, he devoted himself to reforming the system of psychiatric treatment in the country. He writes for Revista 22,Dilema Veche and România liberă.
