Cartoon Macron and the “yellow vests”

After the third weekend of increasingly violent demonstrations throughout France, and particularly in Paris, the French government caved in to the "yellow vests" spontaneous movement, and dumped the increase in fuel taxes that triggered their protest.

French president Emmanuel Macron, accused of not caring about rural mid-lower class citizen's worries, was their main target. In three weeks, over 800 people were injured and more than 1,600 got arrested during clashes between demonstrators and the police.
