On June 4, a substantial majority of Belgian MPs announced that it is cancelling a contract with Italian firm AnsaldoBreda which supplies trainsets costing €20m a piece.

SNCB is accusing AnsaldoBreda of violating regulations during the call for tender process. The Italian firm denies the accusations.
